A kodachi (小太刀, こだち), literally translating into "small or short tachi (sword)", is one of the traditionally made Japanese swords (nihontō) used by the samurai class of feudal Japan.

The Kodachi© display font was inspired by the Japanese short sword of the same name. This is evidenced by the sharp corners and cuts in the uppercase characters of this font. This font also comes with a lowercase set of characters (that do not have the cuts). This lowercase works great for subheadings or smaller bodies of text.

Included in this font:
Stylized uppercase lettering
